Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Snowing like hell here on Long Island. Reports call for up to a foot by morning, and possibly another foot or more by end of Monday.
Unlike "snow-belt" areas, we are not used to this kind of weather - it paralyzes just about everything. I love it!
I know the guys in the DC / Virginia / Baltimore area are getting slammed also.
They're calling it the "Blizzard of 2003". Yay!
Gotta think the P5 will stay buried, and we just might have to take the wife's Jeep out for some four-wheel-spinning fun.

We got about a foot or so just north of Philadelphia. I just got back from a month in Florida on Friday. This really sucks. I played golf in West Palm Beach it was 83. I was driving to the house in PA it was 13.
ahhh, who am I kidding....I grew up in the northeast. I still like it. Let it snow!

Any one here live around Buffalo NY Fort Erie Ont. during the Blizzard of 77??
It was before my time, but it paralyzed the city for over a week, this in a city used to getting big ones on a regular basis.

U guys sure you don't mean the blizzards of '78 and '96?
I vaguely remember '78 (I was 4-1/2) - I remember walking into a path my dad had shoveled, and not really being able to see over the snowbank.
And in '96, I was working maintenance at a trailer park - I worked like hell - almost 24 hours straight. Hehe - I know I made tons of overtime on that one.
Funny - I have three indoor cats, and we just went and chucked them into about 20 inches of snow right outside the door - just to see what would happen. They disappeared under the snow for sec, then came hauling *** back into the house. Hahaha - harmless fun with cats RULES!

I live in central mass and drove my sister down to Providence College at 11:00. Took a long time and the driving was bad.....at least I have snow tires. My car does well in the snow when others were having lots of trouble.....

I'm here in Westchester County in New York, we have about 15 inches now and we'll probably end up with about 2 feet by the time it's over tomorrow morning. I started shoveling and started up my Protege and the 2 wheel drive couldn't handle it....

Yeah I went from school with my girlfriend to her parents over the weekend, and we are still stuck here. We are in Alexandria PA, which is in the central southern part of the state. My car had about 22in on it Monday morning and they are calling for around 4 to 6 more by night...Luckily school shut down for the day and hopefully tommorow too...
