I don't think it's had anything to do with nitrous. I think he just plain missed a shift. I've almost done that before....pulling hard onto a highway...the onramp sweeps down and right, and I've at the top of fourth....just the momentum forced to to shift to second by accident, luckily the clutch only got half out for about half a second. I woulda easily been pushing 10 to 12k.

As for the kid not knowing....I think he did, but at that point...all you can do it laugh about it. It's done, and you know how deep into it you are. Just gotta bite the bullet.

considering he took it apart himself he certainly isn't a novice to mechanics...and he certainly KNOWS what he did and its serious. Just don't know that I could find that much humor in the situation so soon after it happened. It would propably take a bit of bench raceing and some story tellin to get to that point.

Why would he be mad? He can just go down to the local pep boys and buy a whole new ******* B18C on clearance for $29.99. F'in hondas. (I DO like hondas, and all types of cars, but I wish I could find some **** for my car, too...)
