I picked up the CD today as well. It is really good. I am also a member of LP Underground and I have both Hybrid Theory and Reanimation (both purchased the day they came out) as well as their demo album from when the band was called Hybrid Theory. they are my favorite band btw, just in case you couldn't tell.

The single "somewhere I belong" seemed a little light compared to "Hybrid Theory". Would you say the album is more 'commercial' or is it hardcore style like "reanimation" ???

I thought that might be the case as for the post count, but I had never seen a board do that.
The album has more variety in the songs than Hybrid Theory did. You can tell that they were influenced some by Reanimation as well in some songs, while others have little rap in them. One song even just has Chester (the white guy, for lack of a better term) without Mike Shinoda and thus no rap sounding vocals nor music. There is some hard guitar playing in Meteora, I think the heaviest guitar playing is heavier than the heaviest in Hybrid Theory. I have a link for you so you can hear a few more songs. There really is no way to represent the album with just four songs, as in my mind every song is pretty different for the most part.

I've been thinking about picking Evanescence's CD up. I bought the Daredevil soundtrack because of "Bring it to Me". I don't like "My Immortal" that much though. It's too slow and sad. Is that how the rest of the CD is, or is it more like "Bring it to Me"?

No problem. I recommend the CD. A lot of places have it for ten dollars. I got mine at Best Buy, though I believe Circuit City, Target, and a few other places had it for the same price. It was in several ads in the Sunday paper, if you got it.
