Ok, quick update. Went to the beach to visit a friend and pick up my nitrous kit. Was having a good time on their boat getting a nice southern tan (red-neck...pics will follow soon!) Decided to go back to my friends sister house. His 13yr old niece just got a new Honda 4wheeler with auto tranny...very nice piece...about $5K. She was riding all of her little girlfriends around when I asked if she would circle me around the yard.....first mistake...she's FEMALE!! I was asking for trouble! Second mistake, drinking coca-cola instead of holding on with both hands. Third mistake, not yelling at her to not try to jump the huge sand dune she was aiming for.

Long story short, poo poo poo....I have broken part of my hand and my right leg was run over by the rear wheel. I actually have a rubber tract down my calf. I'm just now home from the beach with my newly acquired sunburn, borken hand, burned leg, multiple scrapes and contusions and sand in my ears. I should be able to go back to work on monday but I'll see once I get some more X-rays taken.

Yeah, I fought as hard as I could to keep my head from dragging on the ground but the 4-wheeler was dragging me about 5-6 feet before she turned the wheel and it finally rolled over my leg and left me to slid to a stop.

I ate about 2lbs of sand....I brushed my teeth 3 times and couldn't the grit out!

 

pbthh. See Matty, that's what happens when you dont hang out with me. Damn man, that sucks. I hope everything works out okay (e.g., no surgeries or anything)

Hahaha, yeah I'd forgotten that. Irony has a cruel sense of humor.

 

I prefer Irony's cruel sense of humor to the Honda 4wheelers cruel ability to slingshot all 260lbs of me face first into sand, drag me and then run over my leg. I prefer that anyday!

Chick who cuts my hair said her S.O. bought a new Honda ATR and was driving it around in the front of the house the day he got it. Gearbox jammed in reverse and threw him, ATR landed on top of him. He was in IC for a week; they thought he broke his neck. Be careful, man...we can't afford to lose you.

 

Wow that sucks. Damn Hondas. My friends Suzuki flipped on him yesterday, but fortunatly he's fine.

 

Had my doctor look at me today and said I tore the cartlidge between my ribs on my right side and hyperextended my left elbow. My hand however feels 100% better after the cortizone shot and swelling went down.

I'll get x-rays tomorrow to see if I've broken anything else.

 

So, did you break anything else, Matt?
