the V6 in the Mazda6 isn't the best for power or reliability either,
3.0L V6 Honda = 240HP
3.0L V6 Mazda/Ford = 220HP

P.S. I do not even see the point of comparing the two cars. One is a luxury sedan, and the other is a family hauler. The price is obviously the difference, but what do you expect? It is an Acura! Why not starting comparing Ford Taurus and Lexus ES 300?

TSX is around 26k
V6 Mazda6 is around 25k loaded
so that's what we're comparing.
the Honda V6 is not an option on the TSX, so throw that comparison out.
we can't compare the I4 Mazda6 with the TSX, the TSX has a $5000 price allowance to put more stuff into it.
for the money the Mazda6 is a better buy IMO.

The TSX is supposed to be pretty fast, 0-60 in around 6.6 seconds from what I have been seeing. But Motortrend said they could run the 6s to 60 in 6.67 seconds, Car & Driver says 6.8. With the TSX being smaller and lighter it has the potential for quite a performance advantage, hopefully Acura did a good job with the suspension to back that up.
Honestly I would say the TSX is aimed at an entirely different crowd than the Mazda 6 buyers. They are wanting the people looking at 325i's, 9-3's, S60's, and the like. So it probably isn't a good comparison between them.

Yes, but both the I4 in the TSX and the V6 in the Accord have the capability to kick the 6s's *** in a straight line. That guy was comparing the new Mazda 3.0L to the competitors 3.0L (which btw the Accord gets better fuel economy as well). Mazda really has some issues with their engine design they need to resolve.

Yes, but by how much? I wouldn't call a 0.1 second 0-60 advantage is kicking ***.
Just some rough figures, the Mazda6 does 0-60 in 6.8 seconds, the V6 Accord 6.7, and the TSX in 7.
I can't be bothered to argue with you people anymore. Just because Mazda cars make less horsepower, they are bashed to hell.
The BMW 3.0 I-6 makes ONLY 225hp, and even worse economy than the V6 Accord. It even has worse fuel economy to the Mazda Why don't you go say that this engine has serious issues also.
In the meantime, you can continue bashing with your bias that V-TEC and the HP number is all that matters in the world, although both Mazda and BMW have a similar technology.

Yes, I admit I am pro Mazda a bit, but sometimes I find the statements made against it are unreasonable and unfounded.
It's just making a comeback and producing some of the best products in their class now, so judge objectively, and not merely on the fact that, it's a Mazda. I hear retards doing this on forums all day long.
