Messed up raid

the bust was pointless
I remember about a year and a half ago when my car club started that spot, before Miami Subs was getting busted, we sat out there with lawn chairs watching the cruising from the side on Westhiemer, running every now and then, those were the days, no ******* rice homos, no **** like that. Since then, we, the car club im with, have moved locations and as of lately have stopped meeting on westhiemer all together due to kids acting like ******* idiots while driving their grandmas accord and speeding down westhiemer at top speed, I blame the Fast and furious, the weekend that movie debuted, our lot was PACKED, and DUMBASSES were lining up on DUnvale to race, it was ******* stupid
all in all, im glad this ricer hell of a spot got busted, maybe all the kids and poor rice **** will go home

Just in case you didn't hear....the Captain that was suposedly IN CHARGE of this raid has been suspended....for conducting the raid....course it could all be a smoke screen.....but the HPD KNOW they screwed up.....now they are dodging bullets on the issue.

Clean it up
Since the HPD has publicly admitted that the bust was a comedy of errors and the true reason for the bust, the sting, or whatever you want to call it did not net the gains they had planned on the least they could do is try and redeem themselves.
Lawsuits= Personal decision on the part of the arrested parties.
Trespassing ticket= I would fight it if I were in that position
Clearing the arrest record of all involved in this incident= Warranted.
There are some kids there that were just hanging out with their friends grabbing a burger or whatever at Sonic's. read Patrons of that establishment who know will have an arrest record
I am pretty sure it is just a misdemeanor but still. Colleges do not look highly on any type of involvment with law enforcement unless it is positive.
The officer in charge of the raid has been cited over the last 20 years for violations, accusations, and the like.
I think they should take that into consideration and wipe the slate clean for those who were inoccently involved in this incident and refund any and all bails, towing fees, and impound fees.
Law Enforcement always says that "they get a bad rap"
Issues like this just help to enforce that "bad rap"
Clean up the streets of the criminals and those endangering the lives of the inoccent by illegal street racing. Don't try to make a point by making yourself and your department the @$$ of the law enforcement community.
Someone said they find it funny that this has brought national attention. It is funny but it goes to show the power of the internet and that little "flubs" in the system do not go unnoticed.
Sorry for the long post. Just had to get that off my chest.

I guess many heads will roll for this blunder. 200 or 400, that is still a pretty big number. The last time I heard this happening was during the WTO riots that we had in Seattle.
Even though many of the officers knew that this was incorrect procedure, why did they not contact a higher authority? What a tangled web that these officers put themselves in.
