Model Cars
I was a HUGE fan of model car building when I was a kid - I had tons of them.
As I grew older, of course, I slowly quit putting them together. But I did get the opportunity to build a couple for my dad - a sweet Miata (when he owned his), and a Vette (which he has now). I did a great job on both, using the correct paint, getting interior details right, etc. What a great time.
Anyway - so now I'm looking for models, and can't find what I'm looking for. I want:
1) A P5, of course.
2) A 79 Camaro (or similar - but it has to have the shape from '78 to '82)
3) A Jeep Cherokee for my wife.
I love building these things, but I like putting together ones of cars I own or owned.
Anyone have any places to get them? I've searched online and locally, but no luck with any of those three specific models. And to think - I HAD a Camaro Z-28 model when I was a kid, now I can't find one.

Which Jeep are you looking for Cherokee or Grand Cherokee. Because I know that there is a Grand Cherokee model sold at www.exoticar.com . The model is made by AutoArt, and it is $60. Thats the only one I know:
But also they have a Liberty for $30:
Good luck finding others.

Looking for the regular Cherokee, not the Grand.
And I also prefer to build them myself - that way I can make near-perfect replicas of the cars I own/owned - right paint color, correct interior colors, etc.
Thanks for the info, though.
