I am not going to sugar coat my opinion, but those are pretty good size gouges on your bumper!

Just make sure that the body shop is going to sand all the paint off in those areas to make it flush, then repaint. All I can say is to make sure that they do not use "Bondo" to get around in sanding the area.

You know what...your mom and my mom must belong to the same club or something...lol...the other day my mom drove my car and she backed up into...and you won't believe this...a house...like how the heck do you hit a HOUSE!!! LOL..the damage wasn't too bad so i didn't want to make her feel bad about it...but man did it hurt to look at it...

don't worry...it's kinda bad...but not too bad...i know how you feel though...your baby's been hit =0(

it'll be fixed up soon though right?

Just don't let the shop do a bad job, if it looks dirty or scratches are evident then make them redo it.
Don't sign the paperwork at the shop till its done properly. The insurance is paying for it not you. Even if you really just want your car back.

actually, I would make them buy you a new bumper cover. That is within your rights as well. Especially since your mom has pull in the insurance company. Bondo is the cheap fix. I will never have bondo on any of my cars. I will replace the body skin first.

LOL..if she had told me that I would have been a lil more understanding of the situation....lol...i was lucky it was just a small indent in the bumper...my mom's excuse was, "I didn't see it"...now that scares me...
never the less, there's a lesson to be learned here...never let mom's drive your car and in LitlRay's situation...don't let your mom drive NEAR the car....j/k

Bondo was made by the devil...

It is a very cheap alternative to actually fixing the damage.
