must be nice to have too much money

the guy that owns the 1st floor of the building i work at is having a lift installed in his garage here. why? i'm not sure. i think he just felt like spending some money. he just refinished his part of the basement last month and turned it into a gym. very nice from what i hear. i saw the 56" and 32" plasma tvs they delivered for it. this guy has more money than he knows what to do with. he's got tons of land here in the area, a house with a 12 car garage, and a couple castles over in scotland. he's got a bedroom and bathroom in his office here complete with jacquizzi and all the works. on days that it rains or snows he has his maintenance guy drive him to work because he doesn't want his cars to get wet. what the hell? i'd like to walk up to him sometime and say SHARE THE WEALTH!

here's the lift they're installing

Now, you've said that he has a 12 car garage, but 1st off, is it filled, and with what?

well i've only seen him drive an 03 Subaru WRX wagon. he claims to have about $20,000 dumped into that thing. it sounds awesome when he's pulling into the garage out back. i'm pretty sure that the ferrari sitting in the parking lot on friday was his too but i haven't confirmed this yet. those are the only ones i've seen but i'm pretty sure if the man has a 12 car garage he's going to have something in it.

You perked my interest with the Ferrari... I really like them. Do you know what model it was?

I would LOVE to have a lift at home. It sure makes it easier to work underneath the car. Luckily, I have access to a lift, which I'll use on occaision to get underneath the car.

If I was rich, I too would have quite a collection of cars. The only difference is, I would drive the heck out of them. After all, If I was rich enough to own one Ferrari, I certainly would be rich enough to put 80,000 miles on it (rain or shine) and trade it in on another one a few years down the road.
