That would be cool... My only problem is I sometimes don't know my days to work til the last minute.

i HIGHLY doubt a national meet would ever come off the ground. people dont want to drive cross-country for a few hour meet.

 

... unless it's a full weekend activity....

hmm, maybe a field trip to MUSA headquarter in Irvine, CA, and then a visit to Mazda Raceway at Leguna Seca.....

 

ya the problem with the meet. anywhere u put it your gunna be excluding half the US. somewhere in the middle maybe??? south florida is far from everything it takes half a day just to reach another state. some mathmatition should find the exact midpoint of north america...(excluding the part of canada no 1 lives in up there)... and see if we agree on the spot.

I tend to agree ,a North American meet would be next to inpossible . If people want to ,why not a regional meet and tie it into another event . ie Carlisle ,Spring break at Daytona ,something in the mid west ,Upper west cost ,and Cali .

If 50 or so Mazda Protege sedans ans P5's showed up at an event and showed ,this would have a big impact especially if you were all to arrive at the same time . The whole idea is to get exposure so the aftermarket will take notice of our cars and start making parts for us .

 

if there's anyone in the southeast region that's interested in going to the louisiana import drags/car show on oct 20th, let me know! there's a post in the southeast region section under "Anyone from Southeast Louisiana". we already have 5 members planning on going, and a few maybe's. so far, we have someone coming as far as dallas, texas. reply to the post in the southeast section, or PM me if you're interested in going.

We could always do two meets one for East SIEEEEDE and one for the West SIEEEEDE. They could happen all at the same time.

 

Someone should setup a meet at say an autocross, or have everyone chip in and possibly rent a parking lot or something and set up a course. Those who want to run, run. Those who want to hang out, hang out. Just an idea.
