Need for Speed Underground 2

Need for Speed Underground 2
Sup guys,
Went to meet up the recruiter guy who was looking for different cars to record intake and exhaust sounds for use in the next Need for Speed Underground game. It was pretty dope, i got to meet a big hollywood sound guy who's done like 999999 movies, and i got to hang out with a lot of sound guys and a lot of car guys. There were 350zs and an RX8 and some other cars too. They first listened to my car when i came and said it was too quiet since i only have an intake, so i told them i would unbolt the exhaust for em
After unbolting, they were like "OH CRAP@!", so we put it up on the dyno and they set up about 6 mics all around the car to record the sound of it. It was a dope experience, and i get a free copy of the game, and i got $100 and free dyno runs.
My dyno runs, using Ebay SRI and unbolted exhaust right after the cats, showed around 126 ft/lb and 115 hp.
I also got a chance to ask the EA sound guy why the hell every racing game ever made sounds unrealistic in the sense that when the car is at 3000 or 4000 RPM it sounds similar to what the real car would sound like idling or at like 1500-2000 RPM. He told me that most of the games, including NFSU 1 used only a few sound clips and modified them for different cars. The new game has actual clips from every car they are using in the game, and 3000 RPM means 3000 RPM, So that's exciting too So if you guys ever play that game (its scheduled for November release) and get a protege5, it's my p5!

yeah man i heard of the game being released in november.... i think its gonna be crazy
but one thing i hope, is that, i hope they dunt replace the RX-7 with the RX-8 in the game. they gotta keep the RX-7 still in there, no matter what.
otherwise i hope the game is as good as number 1, but with all the bugs worked out and a better underground mode, with the physics in some modes a little more better.
i'm a drifter guy, so i loved the drift sections, i'm one of those guys that can continue one drift around the whole track for 10 laps and get like close to 2 million points for the track at the end..... so i'm pretty good at it, i hope they keep it in a keep it kinda similiar...
i'm just hoping it will be an awesome game, and that the 7 is still in

Hahah, yeah Roddimus...I played the first one but i wasn't down with the rice-ness about it haha...But i bet you woulda made $100 and free dyno runs if you were down here too
Vagabond, i'm pretty sure they won't get rid of the 7. After seeing an rx8 with intake and exhaust dyno yesterday, i'm even more against them taking out the 7. The 8 only got like 218 whp at like 6000 RPM or so....after that the pwoer drops drastically. I'm wondering why the hell they even made the engine capable of 9000 RPM.

I'm always up for free money and free dyno runs, but being associated with rice is a matter of principle and I'm not sure if I would've gone through with it.
It's one of the big problems I'm debating about openin my own garage. Do we just give out decals to any random ricer and get a lot of exposure or do we only tag vehicles worth showing off and get less exposure? It's a dillema allright.
