New Mazda 3 Owner!
Hi! My name is Tyson. I'm from the little city of Owensboro, Kentucky. I am now the proud owner of a 2008 Mazda 3 S Hatchback. I don't really have any good pictures of it yet...just three BlackBerry pictures taken at the dealership before I got it.
Here's some basic info I know about it: It was bought new by a dealership in Georgia to be used as one of their courtesy/rental cars. After that, somehow it ended up in Nashville, Tennessee and then Evansville, Indiana before coming to Owensboro and then to me. It has just over 12,000 miles on it and drives GREAT. I love it so far. Soooo smooth...but there is a bit of road/brake noise - something I've read about in reviews of the 3.
It's in pretty much mint condition. I haven't found any dents or dings, and there's just two blemishes in the interior - both on the silver accents around the gearshift and the stereo.
We got a good deal on it and traded in my old car: a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT1 coupe that I had affectionately named "Arnold." It was hard (I actually almost cried ), but Arnold had 131,000 miles and was aging fast. I bought him in April 2007 with 103,500 miles to replace my old 1992 Chevrolet Beretta with the anemic 2.2 liter four. Oh well, life goes on.
I don't really have any mods planned for the 3, as purchasing the car itself has left me a little cash-strapped. :P It will be getting a small decal on the rear window to represent my favorite band, Breaking Benjamin. Their four-interlocked Bs as a logo looks pretty neat. Plus, it is begging for tint and a cold-air intake.
Anyway, that's me and my 3. I'll get some more pictures later.
