Nintendo Revolution Controller Released

Nintendo finally realeased its version of the controller for its next generations sytem codenamed Revolution. Anybody whos into video games has been wondering what it might be like and it's now official! Here's a link to IGN Cube and from there, theirs links to a bunch of pages about the controller....

I think its awesome and cannot wait for the system to come out! It's such a great idea and Nintendo has once again made a great addition to the gaming world!

as always nintendo innovates and leads the industry in what will surely be a big hit. This will completely change the way people interact with games (in a good way).

To the naysayers: I know your complaints. "how will we play madden on that thing?". Answer. You won't. Everyone seems to completely forget that the Revolution has 4 ports for standard GCN controllers and wavebirds. I think what you'll see is game packaging will tell you on the back which controller style is used.

I heard some jerk-off on G4tv saying that nintendo sucks and has no clue whats cool.....this guy was in his 30's with a red mohawk, green 80's tee and some ripped up jeans....yeah man, you're real in touch with whats cool! He was also a writer for Mtv if that tells you anything of his knowledge/skill set.

I think pound for pound revolution will blow peoples minds and enhance the way we look at digital entertainment for the next 10 years. I think Revo will sell much more than GCN did because of this and people who typically only buy one console will buy this as a second regardless of what they choose between ps3 and xb2.

Yeah, I've seen that video....

But to answer you quesiton, if you remember the Dreamcast controller, or even the X-Box controller for that matter, you can plug stuff into the top...The idea Nintendo is going with(or atleast I think so) is that the remote part is going to plug or sit in a "normal" controller which is supposed to be like the current GC controller, just with the spot for the "wand" in the middle so you can play conventional games but maybe still have the features of the wand!
