Now she's all mine
I finally paid the last payment for my car today
My first car was Mazda 323 1.1L -82 in 1990
Then I got -89 Seat Ibiza and after that VW Golf III -94.
2 years ago I bought VW Vento (Jetta in US) -97 and last summer I found this -99 1.8L Protege and I intend to keep it much more than 1 or 2 years

Thank you folks
ZoomZoom, they sell second hand bumpers from crashed cars here for 80 USD but it might be expencive to get it there.
Nuke, You know what's in my mind Well, actually I still got a house to pay but what the heck, car first
SedanMan, I think tail lights are different and we don't got roof racks. Those side markers are stock, the law says they gotta be there even though I now have clear ones. Here's another picture with winter tires.

yep your tail lights are different...as they are like the ones that are put on the cars shipped to Austrailia.
Not to mention your car is a 2ND Gen and we have only seen the 3rd.
and the black door/bumper guards as well.....

eh, his car IS a 3RD GEN, just with the pre-2001 refresh front and taillights ('99 I believe he said). Under the skin it's a bona fide 3rd gen Protege

Well the Seat I owned has nothing to do with Leon, except name Seat. Mine was Spanish but the newer ones like Leon are owned by VW but I think Leon is built up in Spain. Actually when I bought my Protege the other option was Seat Leon. And that Cupra R would really be nice (1.8turbo with 210hp)

In Finland cars are expensive as hell, Pro5 with 2L engine is ~25000 USD and Cupra R is 46000 USD. There's also Cupra with 2.8L v6 (204hp) 4wd which is a litte cheaper that 1.8T, 45800 USD
