Gigabyte ga-k8nf-9 nforce 4 mobo
1 gb corsair pc3200 ram
MSI nvidia 6600gt graphics (pci ex16)
120 gb maxtor sata hdd
zalman 7000b-cu heatsink

And STILL waiting for Win XP 64 bit edition

I want a laptop soooo bad though. My next computer will probably be an apple ibook.

yeah unfortunately most of the money came out of my car fund and now i'm picking more hours up at my part time job becuase of it. looks like i won't be getting my 3 until late summer early winter.

p.s. i didn't really spend that much. it's a $2300 system which I only paid $1500 for. gotta love Dell's deals but hate their tech support.

custom is t3h(sorry in a computer mood now) way to go, if you were to get an equal system from a manufacturer, youll be paying a lot more...I built mine right about this time last year after saving b-day and x-mas money

AMD 2800+ barton
ASUS A7N9X-E Deluxe Mobo
ATI Radeon 9800 pro
80GB western digital hard drive
1GB pc 3200 corsair ram
creative sound blaster audigy 2 platinum ZS
Logitech Z-680 5.1 500 watt surround speakers(expensive but beautiful!!!)
Thermaltake Xaser III case (very big!)

A nice computer! for anybody considering building one to try to save some bills, go for it! its not too hard, and IGN recetly made this guide to picking parts and building one, its pretty good!... http://gear.ign.com/articles/579/579077p1.html

Eh, about $1100 give or take. A little more than I wanted to spend in the first place, but I think it will be worth it in the long run not having to upgrade for a year or two.

exactly, thats whats great about custom, and if you want or need to change it, you can just swap stuff out even easier.
