Hopefully my orders for Aviano or the UK don't get shot to hell.

You go to a bar...they have Juicy girls...you buy them a drink...if they like you, they will stay and chat and you will have to buy them more drinks....if they don't like you...you will get the cold shoulder and they will not conversate. They are simply there to strum up business and flirt...maybe you'll get lucky.....lol....

I was to mean for the Marines, if they hazzed me I would have killed some one! The air force was to light weight, Navy, I don't go in any water that I can't just swim to the side if I get tired! LOL Plus back then they didn't let girls on ships, And I'd be dambed if I get stuck on a ship for 6+mo with no girls! LOL

And the Air Force is smarter 'cause they send their "College Boys" to war as opposed to "High School Grad Jim."
For me, joining the Air Force is a no brainer. Do I want to:
(A) Stomp around in the mud and sleep in a hole in the sand.
(B) Wade ashore from a rickety Vietnam era boat and share a hole to sleep in with choice A
(C) Be stuck on a ship for 6 months with 5,000 other guys and get off once in a while to get some STD from a girl that 20-30 other guys from my ship have been with that week, and flying a poorly maintained jet that I have to land on a 500 foot piece of moving steel as it rocks and rolls in the ocean.
(D) Fly a $40 million jet from a fixed base with a non-moving 10,000 foot runway, hundreds of miles from danger with semi to permenent buildings that have satillite TV and serve steak in the mess hall. I'll have my own bed and personal space with safe, exotic women waiting for me when I get home.
I feel that anyone who joins the service is awesome and very selfless, but I just think that the Air Force's lifestyle fits mine the best...
