wow, what a shitty deal

 

"Tom gets on the phone and I ask him if everything is still good to go for today. He says yes and tells me in a harsh tone: “Yeah fine, YOU need to be here at 3pm and that’s that.” I tell him that we had agreed to settle up first thing 28 July 04 and we had an appointment. He says: “Yeah well I am telling you that you come up here at 3pm, no earlier. When I told him I was already on my way he said "Well you better turn your *** around. If you come up here from Tucson earlier you can drive around Phoenix all day or wait across the street in an empty parking lot because you aren’t coming in here until 3.”
So I kindly ask, “Well is everything okay? Was there a problem with getting my old engine back from the junkyard or something didn’t show up?” To which he replies: “All I’m going to tell you is be here at three, no earlier and that’s that” and he hangs up on me."

This alone and I would've beaten him to within an inch of his life. I also would've delivered that beating at about noon of that day....3hrs ahead of schedule.

 

after reading the whole story I have to say that I would've stooped to fighting. No'one would disrespect me like that to my face when all I'm asking for is my money that I'm owed.

(on the record) Ipulled a guys screen door off the hinges and beat him with it once for yelling at my wife. I could do the same to a dodge truck.

 

roflmao.....that is true devotion...

 

don't mess with my cars, my cats or my wife. ever. period. Besides, destroying a dodge I'd feel like I'd accomplished something even if I don't get the money back.

 

agreed, my woman, my car, my stuff and my friends are NOT to be messed with....

Here's the Gist of it, though you should atleast read the entire first
post:

car goes to shop
gets new motor + 1500 dollars labor
motor doesnt make it past test drive-nice work bob
car leaves shop months later on flatbed in pieces
cops are there to keep peace-not the first time?
shop owner gets all angry and calls names before, during, after
thread is posted on every message board in world
bob looks like the bad guy..

 

yeah....gotta take care of the people who take care of you or you'll find yourself homeless and heartbroken in a hurry.
