Protege owners

Just wanted to say that Protege owners are much nicer and way less stuck up then any other car owners at least here where I live. I've had a few strangers give me a little nod on the street as I drive by. I used to think that only bike riders do that, guess not.

Second of all, just got a general question about Mazdas.........
excluding the rx-7s because of course they're one of my top 10 favourite cars........ which mazda would you rather own

MX-3 (Precidia)
MX-6
Tribute
MPV
323 hb
626
Millenia
Miata

My vote right now goes to the MX-6 as before I got the protege, I was dying to get me one of those with leather, spoiler and a moon/sunroof

is this a poll? cool!
okay, my top 2:
1)MPV- sure, family ride, but you can trick this bad boy out!
2)626- these are pretty cherry!

onehawaiian: you must be into the slow and stylin' crowd, no offense. MPV?!? one of the weakest minivans on the market, but i agree it is one of the better looking.

for the poll: if i had to pick which mazda i would want, it would go like this:
1. any current Miata
2. RX7 R1
3. a late model MX-6 with V6 plant.
4. Millenia with Miller Engine (gotta love Mazda cutting edge engines! same reason for RX7)

oh, and i recently bought a protege because i couldn't afford a miata at this time. however, i plan on replacing my wife's civic with a miata in the future.

I'm Gettin' Old

i'm like...old! i feel like i'm getting to the point where i don't need to be racing around anymore...which is why i bought my 5. i wanted the practical look of the "family" wagon, but just couldn't give up my sporty youth! and oh yeah, i love to style, so the slower i go the better! heh/heh

the sporty customized mpv says, "i'm a family kinda guy, but still young enough to kick your @ss" and the 626 says: well, not too much but i like the body.

i wanna race, but father time is creepin' up on me...

I would love to have a R-100 or a RX-3 SP.
I did owned at one time both of them and I regret getting rid of them. If anyone knows of a r-100 for sale let me know

2)tribute (as it is a truck ,, will fit some 19's and woofers)
3)protege5 (one of the hottest cars out in my eyes )(wagon with a kit ,, ohh my god)
4)my second gen with a FS-ZE ,,,, hmm did I just start something

1) Miata - any gen
2) Mid 80's 323 GT-X
3) 84-85 RX-7 GSL-SE

I agree that the Pro owners in general seem great. As a simple rule, owners get more arrogant and stuck up the faster their cars are.

Ie:

Miata owners are great!
MR2 owners are good for the most part
S2000 owners are a bunch of jerks
Supra TT owners think they own gods gift to the automobile world

Thumbs up my fav. mazda

I would have to choose the MX3 precidia as my favourite. I just traded in mine to get the P5. I didn't want to but she was on the verge of death. She had 250,000 km on her. Got into 4 bad accidents with her. None of them my fault mind you but she went through hell and back with me and was still kicken it. The problems just started to pile up and I just couldn't keep up money wise so I had to say ciaou to her. If they came out with the MX3 again I would be first in line!!!!!Blue

1. Millienia S (had one for a week, this car is the bomb! Sounds like a spacecraft, and FLIES!!! Holy fast.. 2.2l)

2. Miata (the new one, with the ground effects, 6spd)

3. 98' MPV (own one, this is better than the new MPV, because it was the last 4x4 they made before the tribute. V6, seats 8, and rocks in all sorts of weather, take it camping whereever I go, easily goes thru snow/ice/water/ no problem.)

4. Tribute (sister has '01, 4x4, not the V6, but great for city, without paying for gas that the V6 would eat up). Great in the case of city snow, at least you're not stranded with the Protege).

And yes, thats 3 Mazda's you'll see in our driveway. We're a bit of a Mazda family, we actually had a B2000, but traded it for the Tribute... hopefully the Protege may go for the RX-8
