Resident Evil 4 kicking my ***!--in a good way!
This game is SO hot....if you haven't seen it in action you're missing out. I've got a pretty nice surround system in my game room and with the volume pumped you can hear villagers cursing you from a distance and people running up behind you and stuff....very freaky freaky stuff.

i figured my way out of the spot I was stuck on and now I'm just getting mauled by anything that moves. This is one of those games where the ambiance just scares the crap out of you.
I have my surround sound turned up and you hear noises behind you and I catch myself turning and seeing if anything's there...it sounds so real.

bump for an update....I've been playing the game for a few weeks now and I'd like to give you an idea of what kind of things you can do in this game...it's unreal.
target hitting zones....each creature can be shot in about 12 different locations to cause them to do different thing. When someone runs at you shoot them in the lweg to make them fall on their face and slide in the dirt, shooting them in the hands causes them to drop their weapon...if they're holding TNT shoot it and it'll blow up everyone around them...etc.
enemy AI.....enemies will actually try to bob and weave when you're shooting at them. When you are in the dark and have the flashlight on they will cover their eyes. Enemies run and jump and will side straddle hurdles to get to you faster.
hostage rescuing.....you rescue the presidents daughter and she has to tag along the whole time. in a room full of villagers?? hide her in a dumpster and retrieve her later. She obeys commands like "wait" and "follow me" "hide" jump" etc....you''ll use her to help solve puzzles and climb high walls. Enemies will try to carry her off and you must sniper them in hit zones without hitting her. very trickey stuff
weapons upgrades......each weapon can be upgraded in 4 catagories, firepower, capacity, reload speed and firing speed. some weapons can be maxed out to get unlimited ammo....very cool stuff.

If you're looking into Bose stuff I'd HIGHLY suggest the new 3-2-1 DS (i think) system...it's only 2 speakers and a sub but it sounds better than my pro-logic 2 receiver with 5.1....in a small room it is amazingly real....I watched the demo clip of DRIVEN (by sylvester stallone) on the 3-2-1 in the bose store and was sold instantly...you can hear the cars circling your head and it's so clear and crisp...no matter how high or low the volume is.....at $1000-1300 you can't beat it.
As far as other great games to go with a nice sound system I'd suggest "Donky Konga"...you play the bongo's to a lot of classic songs and earn points to buy new songs and mini games...a REAL fun multi-player game and not bad single player either. As for horror games I'd suggest Eternal Darkness. Graphics are a little dated but it's such a unique and original concept it's a lot of fun to play though all 3 trimes (to get the REAL ending)

let's try to stay on topic with Resident Evil 4 stuff......
I'm just now getting into the mansion where the monks are shooting catapults at me. My sniper rifle is my best friend.....except for the dude in the iron mask who laughed at me when I shot his mask!
