Thumbs up Road & Track likes Protege MP3

I just recently picked my latest R&D issue, and I was surprised. The magazine performed a test of high speed handling. Among the cars were Lancer Evo VII, M3, Z06, 360 Modena, Lotus Elise, and guess what? MAZDA PROTEGE MP3! They absolutely loved the car. Even though the car over all was last, it was the only car there with 140bhp. Brian Herta was driving the cars to the extremes and he absolutely loved MP3's suspension, and the way the car handles on the road. R&D said so many nice things about the car, and Brian Herta even said in the end of his 2 cents, that if MP3 had a bit stiffer suspension and a turbo, the car would have been a real thrill. Apparently R&D could not get thier hands on the MAZDASPEED Pro, but I hope they do soon.

Thanks Zoom-Zoom, for posting this picture. I think it is very cool for Mazda to get good props from Road&Track.
