Hey Gary, can you shoot me his number in a PM? He has my valve cover that he was supposed to powdercoat for me and send to me for my new engine. I need to get in touch with him so I can get it ASAP.... Thanks bro,
Jeff

I dont know why he hasn't been on here in a while, but he's been working rougly 60 hours a week for the past month or so at a new job, so that might have something to do with it. Jeff, last I heard, he was in the process of getting a new powder coating machine and oven built. If Gary doesn't have his number PM me and I'll send it to you.

Hey guys if there's every anything admin-wise that you need, and you cannot reach Roddimus, let me know at admin@mazda3club.com. Or in the case of some forums (like this one) you can use the "report post" button to get to me too.

Are there other forums on the site here that get spammed a lot?

I delete the threads all time...
but the spammers keep coming back and reposting.....
I've banned like crazy and it didnt do any good....
we really need some kind of feature where they either have to be a member for a month or so or a minimum number of posts before they can drop links...this would prevent a lot of spammers...Ryan said we dont have the option, but I know some versions of vbulletin do, so we should be able to incorporate that somehow

Well we cannot do it across the whole site because then legitimate new members couldn't post. But what I can do is set up certain forums (such as this one) to not allow posts until members have "X" number of posts. Most spammers are one or two post wonders, so this may well take care of the bulk of the problem.
Also, we can require registrants to email verify, which eliminates bots from registering. Means a real person has to complete the reg process.
EDIT: Because it seems spambots are hitting this specific forum, I just turned on email verification for new registrants. This should head some of 'em off.
