so a lot of my friends have turbo cars ,,, but no a/c
I have a lot of friends who drive turbocharged cars , both that live in my area and that don't live in my area...
But anyhow those that live in my area and drive turbo cars, most if not all of them drive them daily. The thing that bugs me out is that some of these guys have these cars , civics , supras and so forth and don't have their a/c in the car...
I know for a fact that here in new york , we get some humid days in the summer where the temp can top out at close to 100 degrees.. and I am wondering what the hell do you do on those days. I know for a fact that on those hot days I won't be driving my 323 , but instead my protege with the a/c .. And on top of that imagine if you have a girl , which girl is gonna ride with you on a 80+ degree day in your car with no damn a/c ...
That just seems ubsurd to me ... I thought of pulling the a/c out the protege, to make more room for the turbo but that just got thrown out the window, just thinking of those times when I am out on a date... hahaha hell no ....
I don't know how many of you guys out there don't have a/c in your protege or 323 or what ever car/mazda you drive ,, but how the hell do you deal with it ...
Those red lights must be a rea pia ..
just had to post this

I think you hit the nail on the head, Bruce. Rule #1: Before you consider any modifications, before you think about emissions, cost/performance, feasibility, anything; ask yourself, "Will a woman be willing to ride in this car? If not, do I have another car? If not, do I ever want to go on a date again?"
("steamed rice"... I love it.)

I honestly think that it is not practical to not have a/c in your car, no matter how fast you want it to be.... especially if you drive the damn thing everyday..
for instance: I drove my Protege today, with a/c and tint, and it was so confortable, just cruising with the windows up and the a/c on. mind you it is a 90 degree day today, here in nyc.
I drove the 323 yesterday to work , with the 2 front window down the back windows cotched open and still felt the sweat dripping down my back on my way to work ... not cool ...lol .
The pro needs an inspection hence why i drove it today...

The a/c helps you keep that comfortzone, (not to forget tints)..
I don't see how you would go out on a date with a chick and not put on some a/c to keep her/yourself comfy and out of sweat zone ..
Who wants a sweaty broad/dude.
