Stop bitching about the 2.0L

Stop bitching about the 2.0L
Ok, all you M.******* that got a 2.0L......GO TO HELL

All you do is, "what can I do to get more out of this"
or " this is the slowest piece of ****"
or " I can't beat a 350Z"
or "blah, blah, blah"

I rode in the 2.0L a while ago, and that thing has power
I mean, it has enough power to get the car going
and adding the proper mods such as camns, intake, full body exhast, you could get more juice out of it

If all of you think that the 2.0L is bad, then what about the suckers that drive the 1.6L, huh

What the hell do I do, I drive the shittiest of all 1.6L with a ******* auto, take about power......70HP to the wheels
What is this, I can't beat a ******* moped!!!!!!!!!!!!

and the 1.6L are less adaptable to be changed and added aftermarket stuff to the engine

So in conclusion, enjoy your ******* 2.0L. Stop bitching about it
true, it could kick out more juice, but, think about the suckers that drive the 1.6L. Think that a 89 Cavalier burned me last night

Thanks for bearing with me

The 2.0 liter does have a lot of spunk to it. I test drove a DX Protege (not sure about the size engine) back in 2001 and hated it. I wanted a P5, but it was out of my price range. I was just about to leave when he suggested I test drive an ES. I told him that I didn't want an automatic if I was going with a 4 cylinder and saw a black one that still had the white stickers on the hood roof and trunk, test drove it, fell in love, and had it ever since.

I used to have a base model Eclipse. 90 measely hp. It was a stick, but no friggin power whatsoever. I told a gf that I had traction control. She said really and told her, "Yeah, see the AC control switch, just turn it on and out goes 10 hp!" I know how Lancer owners feel now that the EVO are out. They are looking at their Lancer LS or even funnier, OZ Edition and now are scratching their heads thinking, damn, how can I get my car to look and go as fast as the EVO.

No matter what you drive, you want something better. Fact of life which is also why people buy so many cars and partly why cars are a bad investment. At the time, the MP3 was the ****, and now MP3 owners are jealous of the MazdaSpeed Proteges. Always coming out with faster better stuff.

I thought you were going to say you were abducted by aliens and they were going for a joy ride in your car! Glad to know you are okay!

Stock that is, which really doesn't matter 'cause
you can't too much stuff to make the engine stronger anyways

65-70? How is that possible!!! Why would a man build such a slow car? I need a self esteem boost. Whats a faster car? I heard that een geos are faster than me.

Thank you

To all the people out there that think I am crazy....
sorry for the bitching
I am having couple of bad weeks in a row and every little thing is ticking me off, I am usually not this bad

But seriously, I see alot off, "what can I do with this" etc....
and I KNOW that the protege is slow, but it is WAY better than what other members drive
(I guess I am better off than some members that drive the 1.5L, but why is it then when I tried to own a fellow 1.5L, he smoked my ***, maybe because I have a auto or is the earlier pro's lighter in weight?)

I actually enjoy the protege in highway driving, I like the end torque on it. however for city driving, NEED FOR MORE POWER.

you know what I am going to do.............after a couple of years, drop a RX-8 motor(if it is feasible) in the proteges....yeaaaaahhh!
