So it is going to be traded in today....Getting a 2007 Ford Focus ST....Comes with 2.3L Duratec Engine, SVT suspension, Streat Appearance Package full Body Kit, 16" Wheels , Tinted Glass, Chorme tipped exhaust, ABS, Power Heated MIrrors, Fog lamps, Leather & Suede seats, 6 Disk changer w/mp3 player and steering wheel controls, Leather wrapped steering wheel and shift ****.

Well, congrats on the purchase. I have a 40 mile drive each way, so I can relate.
Anyway, you can always pick up a V8 project car at some point.
I love my Pro to death, and Mazdas in general, but being an old guy, I miss the
sound and feel of a RWD small block.
There's nothing else like it. I grew up with oversteer and low RPM torque and still feel more comfortable with it even after 20+ years of driving FWD four-bangers.

 

I do like the new Focus, cool body kit they have going. The back is really agressive, almost like the Wings West kit for the protege.

Which is crazy for a stock kit.

no. If I could have gotten a 3 with those kind of options for $15K I wouldve been all over it...but optioned like that even with my discount wouldve been like $18K

and yeah.. the rear lip on that kit definitely reminded me of the Protege sedan wings west kit. The kit definitely massively changes the look of the rear of the car. I have never examined the cars up close though.

time for some cosworth parts for that 2.3!
