I'm suprised the Mustang is not only on the guy list, but it's higher than the corvette and viper? I like mustangs and all, but corvettes and vipers are just the bomb (well, I guess you could include mustang cobra). I think Mustangs are more of a chick car though, I see more women driving mustangs by far. BMW 3 series is a gay car? Would that include an M3? I hope not!

This list is old, I heard about it in May on the radio, guess news travels slower up there in the cold.

I agree about the mustang being a chic car, almost every mustang I see is a chic driving. I also think both the vette and viper should be higher on the list, but that is the way surveys work.

Maybe they should have posted a list of cars that some people could actually afford........

That's of course reffering to the corvette, viper, and to a lesser extent mustang and camaro....

Perhaps that's why it's called the 'ultimate' car list, not the reasonably priced car list.

I've heard this list before.

But all I have to say is that whoever thinks the Miata is a "chick" car and a "gay" car never threw one around a 90 degree corner at 40 mph, toe-heeled down to 2nd gear, revved the engine, dumped the clutch, and threw the rear end waaaayyy out there - then just let go of the steering wheel and snapped her back in line without any drama or fear. Or took an off-ramp at 80 with the tires singing. Or whipped one around for fun on a wet road with total control. Or.......

I LOVE Miatas - and I'm a purely hetero male. They are one of the most fun cars on the planet - I still miss mine, no matter how well the P5 handles.

I'm thinking some bull-dyke or rainbow-sticker-owning faaaaiiiig wrote the list......

Probably under the "Cars for people with more money than God" list .

That car is almost $700,000 - yikes.

I like the Jetta, 3-Series, Wrangler (only serious off-roader out there), and Miata. Are they are trying to tell me something? Maybe its time to go buy a rainbow sticker.

But then I own an F-150. I'm confused.

Agree - according to Ford research - about 51% of all mustang buyers are women.. and that statistic is not broken down by a specific model (Mustang, GT or Cobra)...
