V-day just around the corner!
Hey peeps, valentines day is just around the corner. Eeek! I have no idea what I'm gonna do for my girlfriend this year. Do any of you boy/girls have anything special planned to do for your "SO"?

Last year I got a ticket on the way back from my girlfriend's house, while only being with her for about 30 minutes. Great, eh? I had to drive 120+ miles (altogether) in rush hour traffic (the whole thing took 3+ hrs) to only see her for 30 minutes.
I think I'll mail her a $3 greeting card this year.

I'm taking my girlfriend of 8 months out to a really fancy dinner theater for her birthday on the 1st. (Like $100 each!) But as for Valentines, I'll probably just get her some more jewlery or something... Meh...

Well.....
I'll probably try to create some kind of a fancy dinner from scratch and find a movie that fits the evening for us. Making sure we have plenty of Pie to last through the night.
After that, we prep the cars, and it's off to Buttonwillow we go for a day of racing.

Okay guys....I will give you a GREAT suggestion for what to do...
I did this last year.....it worked out great....and its even better if your wife/girlfriend works during the day in some office.
Look around your area and see if there are any Barbershop Quartets.....we have a group here that on V-day, for a very small fee will go anywhere in town and present the lady of your choice with a long stem rose...and sing to them a love song in four part harmony.....not only will your lady love it.....she will be the envy of all the other ladies in the office.

on occasions when i've been single on valentine's day, i've gone out for supper with all my other single friends and proceeded to get hammered on red wine. always a great time.
but the rule is "you're not invited if you're not single" so i can't go this year.

Like alcoholiday... my wife and I are probably going to do the pizza and movies as well (have a few on my hard drive downloaded from Kazaa don´t tell on me).
But we will also have some alcoholic beverages, and sex.
And for all of you who will spend it alone... don´t worry. We´ve all been there more than once, I´m sure.

Let's see we have our traditions:
First, a box of Fresh delicious strawberries dipped in white chocolate (Yummy!!),
Then, my sig. otter & I will likely go to our favourite place - a quaint Indian restaurant that's got some very spicy and fragrant delights. Afterwards, it's homeward for pure pet interaction (including a shower - with the bird) with of course, plenty o' booze, beer or wine.
And then we prepare for the next day's tradition:
a 16 mile hike in the mountains, where we kiss, eat berries and drink champagne on the snowy summit...
