and that is why so many of us carry a gun and will not hesitate to use it when a CAGE tries to run us off the road....

been there...done that. :{D

btw....my harley is yellow too....SO, you may want to hesitate if you see one.....and its yellow....and you are thinking about running it off the road.

there is no helmet law in IL .. i guess they suppose if you're gonna be thrown off your bike ..they figure you'll probably die anyhow with or without a helmet .. lol

no helmet law??? what kind of an f-ed up state is that???

If you slide when falling from a bike you'll survive without any major injuries at all..... I'd always wear a helmet

colorado has no helmet laws either. it's sad. :[ we'd get more money for roads (repairs, etc) if we had that damned helmet law.

for those of you that are Non BIKERS.....you may be surprised to know that there is just as much evidence that helmets are the CAUSE of head injuries in the case of motorcycle recks as they are protection....just like you can find people that have been killed in auto wrecks because of their seatbelt.....

MANY states have helmet laws that allow you to NOT wear one IF you meet certain criteria....one you are over 18 years of age...and two you carry additional health care insurance above and beyond what is supplied by your bikes insurance.

Just some information. :{D

Bet seatbelts and helmets have saved more people than they've killed.

The funnies biker joke I know:

This is what it says on the back of a biker's t-shirt - "If you can read this, the bitch fell off."

I saw a chick in Boston hit a cop on a Harley, and it was a cops fault too. He somewhat scratched her car, and just looked at her car, said something to her and drove away.

Iowa is also a no helmet law state. Which i dont think we need one. people should have a right to wear one or not. not be forced. personaly i would where one. but i should have to be forced to. Im tired of people giving away there rights. cuz they think they need the gov. to protect there stupid asses. Like people dont know how to be safe with out someone else telling them how to do it.
