Weblog: 16 Hours in Home Depot

This has to be one of the craziest, yet hardest bets to ever do. Some guy from RI spent 16 hours in a Home Depot 6AM to 10PM. He logged everything that happened, by the time it was over he was ******* insane. Incredably funny read if you got got time to kill. The Home Depot bet weblog

After spending a summer working 12 hour overnights at HD I can understand how the guy went a little nutty!

Sounds like a bit of BS the HD I worked at was very flexible for me and I only had to go to a weekend training that definitely wasn't worth 10k. However there may a position or two there that does require that type of training. They had kitchen designers there that had to operate a really complex graphics program and that was about a 3 month training course so maybe he was applyingfor that?

I tried getting a job at HD when I was in college, and the only position they could offer me at the time was a "buggy pusher/customer helper". I declined it, being that I had enough of those kinds of jobs in high school. They do pay well, but not that well!!
