What do you listen to?

Mostly heavy stuff - 90's alternative, some 80s metal (think Metallica back when they knew how to WRITE a song). Tool, Sevendust, and Days of the New is definitely my favorite band for the past several years - I've travelled around the NorthEast to see them live - been to 4 shows, last one was the closest, in NYC, and it kicked ***.
I also branch out a lot to other stuff like Dave Matthews (Carter Beauford is the best drummer/percussionist in the world, IMHO), Bela Fleck, some rap like Black Sheep and Tribe Called Quest.
New age - Michael Hedges, Michael Manring; Miles Davis for jazz for sure.
Basically anything other than country and opera.
Just as long as it's not that soul-less, droning dance music. I can't stand it.
I've got over 400 CDs - so there is a good variety in there for sure.
When I drive, I mostly enjoy obnoxiously loud heavy rock stuff. Often, just to **** off the white guys bumpin to gangsta rap like they know the deal or something.

I listen to mostly everything except classical and country. I hate those two. I perfer rap and R&B, but I have everything from Sum41 to Dave Matthews to Saliva to 2pac and everthing in between. I'm an all around type of person. I love mostly everything as long as its not Garth Brooks or Mozart.
I kinda grew on emo/punkish since that is all my roomate at school listens to. Its pretty cool.

My favorite artist overall is Nelly, of course.

If nobody liked it, they wouldn't sell it, so somebody's got to listen.
At least I know what "emo/punk" is now!
