Angry What will be the next incentive/rebate for the Protege5?

I am planning to purchase a Blue Protege5, sometime between now and June. I will wait. What are the incentives now? are there any rebates? If not, they have to bring something to compete with the Toyota Matrix right? Toyota Matrix is about $1000 cheaper and has a better mpg / resale value / and known reliability. Does anyone have any inside info?

Yea, since the matrix is out now, I'm sure Mazda will compete with something. Where do you live? Maybe we can bargain with the dealer say.. "we'll take two if u can give us below invoice"

Right now Mazda is running 1.9% financing up to 36 mos, and 3.9% for 48 or 60 mos. This is good until April 1st I believe. I'd be surprised if they offer a cash rebate or even better financing.

I priced out a Matrix XR comparably equipped to a P5, and it was $700 more. Also, with the Matrix being a new model, don't expect special financing or to get as much off MSRP as with a P5.

The choice is yours, but if you plan on getting a P5, I don't think there is any point in waiting as Mazda will probably not offer any additional incentives.

I just baught TWO P-5's at the end of December, I looked into the financing and rebates and all very extensively....MAZDA has NO rebates, NO Dealer Hold back, and NO dealer incentives for selling you a P-5. Also, at least here....with Mazda Credit Corp financing your car you COULD get 0% for 36 months. Even with the Matrix out...I can't see Mazda offering any special good deals.

oh Yeah, one more thing.....IF you have a car that you are planning on trading in when you buy your P-5.....all you are doing by waiting is allowing that vehicle to devalue that much more...not to mention cheating YOURSELF out of all that fun you could have had driving your new P-5!
