What was your worst job ever?

Two tied for 1st. Both at the same place. During the summer prior to going to college I worked for Huntington State Beach here in California primarily cleaning up beachgoers messes:
1. Midnight shift picking up trash cans filled with rats - usually they'd crawl up your arm scared sh*tless that you bothered them while feeding.
2. Cleaning out the women's restroom! Up one side of the beach - turn around to the same ones and find that women are the worst about their bathroom use. Use your imagination. Very smelling and sickly looking. Yuuuuch!

I used to clean out burnt buildings. The worst were grocery stores. After 2-3 weeks (for insurance and police to look it over) you would go in and pull everything out by hand. Imagine the meat and fish counters rotting in the summer heat for a few weeks and having to clean it out with nothing but cotton gloves. Rather nasty.

I used to work for a property management company doing maintenance work, and we'd be the one's cleaning up apartments and stuff after evictions.
These ******** would leave refrigerators full of food, food on the floor, **** in the toilets, **** on the floors - whatever they could to make life hard. And after a few weeks, that cleanup was NASTY AS HELL.
One time, the guy I worked with had to bust down the front door of one apartment - seems the evicted tenants had nailed it shut somehow. But they also spread peanut butter all over the header above the door inside the place. And yes - when he busted into the apartment, a few thousand cockroaches fell all over him - I've never seen a 60 year old man strip down to underwear so fast in all my life. Oviously, these ******** were "professional evictees" and knew how to get the last laugh. All my company did was ask them to pay the ******* rent - I guess we deserved it then, huh? Frigging welfare collecting, non-working wastes of life.

Cleaning carpets was the worst job I ever had. I ran into some nasty rooms with awful cat **** smells. I also had to clean vacant apartments. I can't believe how some people live.

I help my dad sometimes because he's a building manager and when people leave, you go in there and it smells sooo bad and then we have to clean the carpets and everything to make it ready for the people moving in.
Speaking of people not paying their rent, hihosilva, my dad had a guy jump out of the balcony and run away literarly.... good thing he was on the first floor hehe

We used the crappy portable units, too - half the time they didn't even work. I wound up chucking the machine into my boss's office, swiping my last paycheck, and telling him to take the leaky POS machine and the job and shove it up his ***.
