Question What's the dumbest thing you have done to get someone's attention?

Back when I was a sophmore in high school in '89 I think it was, I was driving downtown Charleston to a friends house. He wasn't home and it was a holiday (4th of July). I was all pumped, ready to raise hell, and get drunk like a typical teenager who is young, dumb, and full of ***. He wasn't there, so I ended up driving home. I see this hot looking college aged girl and had my window rolled down and yelled, "WHEW BABY!!!" Just as doing so while merging right to turn, I hit the curb and side swipe a yield sign She turned and looked at me with the WTF expression on her face! I darted off and had to turn off a couple of streets away. I had a nice crunch on the side of my car and blew out the front passenger's side tire. I had to knock on a resident's door and borrow a tire jack because the lug nuts were so tight, I couldn't budge it with the factory provided one. I had to drive home with the steering wheel turned 90 degrees from totally ******* up the alignment! I got in the after fireworks 4th of July traffic with my heart racing and adrenaline flowing. I went straight home and woke up my parents. I told my dad, "Dad, I know this could have waited until tomorrow morning, but I have something to tell you and knew you wouldn't believe me if I waited the next morning." Glad I did too. He won't let me live it down, but if I would have waited, he would have told me that I was drunk because no idiot is that stupid to yell at some woman while the lane splits right with an island on one side and a foot high curb on the other! Live in and learn the hard way which is the dumb *** way!

I faked an English accent once. My friend and I told these 2 girls that I was a foreign exchange student. We were at Great America (big amusement park outside of Chicago), and the girls hung out with us all day, and I kept the accent going until we got off this one roller coaster, at which point I shouted "That was awesome!" in my regular voice. Oops. Busted. The girls laughed, but they also left. I thought I might get something for effort (spoke in an accent ALL FREAKIN DAY, wasn't easy) but no.

Haha....damn. I can't even remember...I once gave a "woo-woo" whistle to a girl, only to be greeted by her bf a few moments later.... Bummer.
