Slowest ie worst accel, feels slowest, protege this thing is terreble I get passed by suburbans, and other such socker moms in there gigantic suvs. But she is just so cool so I cant give up on her, need naws now.
Slowerst top speed, 89 vw jetta it had trouble breaking 60 and there everything was shaking when you would lift off the gass it was like hitting a brick wall. Crazy deceleration. Then again when the pros maf went it also had trouble breaking 60 but the jetta did totaly tore it up to 60.
This thread might be dead but its not bad.

1) 1979 diesel VW Rabbit. No power steering or brakes, and you might crack 100km/hr going down hill, in - I kid you not - Psychedelic Green (original factory paint). Or as we called it, Puke Green or Shitbox Green. Yeah it was frugal, but not fun to drive and didn't handle very well either, at least to me.
2) 1985 diesel Ford Escort - yes, diesel. This thing was looser in gear than it should have been out of gear, was in a minor rollover (before we got it) and had tried to push a semi out of the way (thank goodness there was no fan!). You could feel the wind through the back passenger door (the body was half rusted), and when accelerating, the "Little Engine That Could" motto kept going through your mind - I think I can, I think I can. But, it had torque to no end, could plow through the deepest snow drifts like butter, and the engine never quit - call me stupid, I still miss this car!

Slowest I ever owned:
1978 Datsun B210 wagon (auto)
1982 Corolla hatchback coupe (also auto)
Actually, they were my wife's but damn, they were SLOW.
I think juddz wins this contest, though, that VW bus is one of the slowest vehicles ever.
