I have all that stuff on default. My friend has all his race options on default also he reaches like 270+. I think its just my game.
Though my game has this flaw I've completed like 70% which is pretty good since I haven't had a chance to play since summer.
I hate being in school. Can't even play my favorite game.

screw with the gearing in 5th and 6th and you can get it to 300 mph.

i get to 300 and run out of track on the test oval.

Are you guys talking about open-wheel F1 cars?

Yeah, I would shoot myself if I had to do more than about 3 laps on the test course. Thanks for the tip. I still prefer GT2, though, except for graphics.

By the way, your Festiva is awesome!!

here's a 'cheat' for you guys. when you start the game from the beginning, buy a miata as your first car. get your IA liscense and run the miata enduro. i won the F/686 as the second car on my game from it. this race is rediculously hard however, so make sure you can drive before you commit to it.

Yea, I don't get that race... I got a miata, completely stock like it says to be, yet this one miata was freaking fast as ****, there was nothing I could do to keep up with it! I mean ****, I'm not that bad of a driver!

3 things. first, buy the racing medium compound tires for it. you'll have to run a few smaller races to save up the money. second, change the oil to gain a couple of hp. 3rd, be patient. the faster cars wear their tires out sooner. it was almost 3/4 of the way through the race that i had the lead coming out of every pit stop, but if you are a good driver it's possible. this is definitely the hardest race (for me) on the game. but if you can finish it, the rest of the game is cake.

Well, I have about 6million credits, so saving money for those tires shouldn't be a problem. I didn't know you were allowed to use racing tires, that's probably why that bastard miata kept walking me.

For an update on the F1 car, I'm on the 3rd endurance race today, I ran 4 yesterday for about a total of 13 or 14 times so far I thought when you won a car out of the 4 random it wouldn't let you get that one anymore!

Do anyone think they can help me with my problem?

stretch your gears ALL the way out. final drive too. then trim your downforce to a minimum, and drop your car as low as you can on ride height. that should get you in the 300mph ballpark.

I have heard of that trick but never got it to work. I also read in a mag that it is bs.

I am on my 4th run of the test track race. The first time I raced the entire thing and got the vette. 2nd time I used the rubberband trick and came back at lap 79 to see my car stuck on the wall in last place. 3rd time I won the Cliosports race car. 4th time is going right now.

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!

I FINALLY got the F1 car, this is probably run number 20 or so, and it's finally mine! I tried that key press thing, and I think I hit on it 3 times... Who knows if it was actually that or not. I don't think it's the best F1 car, but who cares, it's still fast as ****!
