LOL
I love my xbox - but i agree with 99% of his comments...
I primarily use mine as a dvd player.. games are a secondary bonus. Only reason i really bought the xbox in the first place was for amped. IMO, thats' the one good game that's out for the system.. DOA3 and DOA Beach volleyball come in as 2nd and 3rd, even though the Volleyball game isn't even out yet...
Maddox rules.. He totally tells it the way it is...

THE INFAMOUS KONAMI CODE!!!!!
God that code was in just about every Konami/Ultra game of the NES era!! Talk about memory lane....
Oh yeah, the Xbox. I am a game nut. I bought every system on the day of its release until the Xbox. Yes, even Virtual Boy was in my hands on day one. I finally bought an Xbox six months into the lifespan of the system and can't say it gets any use for anything other than multiplayer games of Halo. I sold every game I had for it except for Project Gotham and Halo. My PS2 does DVD duty just fine. Oh yeah, I sold the stock controller and bought all Controller-S sized ones - no way will you catch me playing with those mutated Batarangs.
My PS2 and (lately) my Gamecube eat most of my game time. Both systems have games which are just more plain fun. Out of touch as they may be, Nintendo still makes purely fun and unparalelled gaming experiences and Sony rules the roost in terms of content. Sales wise you're never going to dethrone Sony. Nintendo continues to carve out thier niche, while Xbox has all but died on Japanese and European shelve - Microsofts own sales numbers prove this. Their razor slight edge over Cube will surely be eliminated by the time the holidays are through.
Sorry to rant on and on, but videogames are one of those topics I am a long time devotee and study of.
