i'm looking for an owerners manual and the dealer tried to charge me 25.00 plus shipping. I thought these things were free? if you have one in good shape or can send me one e-mail me at william.sipes@eielson.af.mil

$25 for something like that is a steal! considering my haynes manual was about $15, the last time i looked for a work manual from the dealer it was $100

Yep, you have to purchase them at the stealership. They do come with a lovely neoprene cover though. The owner's manual is so highly valued that thieves will likely break into your vehicle in order to steal it along with your headunit and radar detector....or maybe that's just my bad luck?

i have a 2003 manual in PDF form if you want it covers protege5 and sedans. btw, you can go to www.mazdausa.com and click the owners link. if you register (for free) you get a maintenance log, some coupons, but you also get to d/l manuals for a lot of models. thats where i got my 2003 manual in PDF form. all for free

yea I got that too but didn't want to print the whole thing out. the new car salesman went in the back to look for one, said he would give it to me for free but didn't have it. I registered on that site and printed up the spefication charts that I really needed. Thanks for all the posts.
