FREE: Mazda 3 Class One Hidden Hitch (KY)
My wife had a Mazda 3 and we installed a hidden hitch on it so that she could attach a hitch mounted bike carrier.
Long story short, we hit a dog (big dog) on the interstate and it totalled the car. We removed the hitch before the insurance comapny hauled it away so if anyone would like it, it's free but it has to be picked up. Way to heavy and I am not sure I have a box that would fit it anyway.
It was installed but never used and I have the instructions. There is no welding involved. It is designed specifically for the Mazda 3. The only thing you have to do per the instructions is use a 1/2" drill bit to make the four existing holes in the bumper larger to accomidate the blocks. It's an easy 30 minute install. Only cavaeat is that when you install these, there are some parts that cant be removed from the bumper so you would need to go to a draw-tite dealer (maybe Lowe's?) and get the parts. It's basically the 1/4" x 1" x 3" blocks (qty=4). I have most of the bolts, washers and nuts. If you needed any of those you could get them at Lowes. This thing is like $110 new, and I imagine all you need is ~$5-10 in parts and you'll have yourself a nice Class One Hitch.
If interested email me at dbvolfan1@aol.com. We live in Richmond, KY just South of Lexington. I just hate to toss it if someone can get some use out of it. I know I use the one on WRX quite often.

Yeah, we loved the 3 but eneded up replacing it with a Honda Fit. I just hate to toss this thing since it is so new. It is supposed to fit all Mazda 3's from 2004-2008 and Mazdaspeed 3's as well.
Below is a pic of the instructions...
I doublechecked and all it is missing to do the install is:
4- 7/16-14 x 1.25 Grade 5 bolts
4- 1/4" x 1" x 3" blocks
2- Fishwires for the bolts (I have 2, used the other 2 installing it)
I have the 4 7/16" nuts and conical toothed washers that came with it.
