i also have a pair of Pioneer TS-A1667 6.5" speakers for sale. they went to my 1995 protege LX as front door speakers. they sound pretty nice, though not top of the line material. very good upgrade from stock paper woofers.

*the mounting holes have been modified to fit in my front doors. will have pics later. they should fit any 2nd gen protege, and most other makes/models, but i dont know the specifics. grills included.

the speakers have a little over a year of usage. they had their proper 2 hour break in periods. i have played them loud, but i know the equipment's and my limits. majority of usage have been pretty easy--i dont play it loud enough for other people to hear inside their own cars because i'm not a jerk.

also included is the remainder of the Best Buy PSP. they will repair or replace those speakers if they fail for any reason (other than running it over with your car or throwing them into the toilet). in general they replace the speakers instore rather than ship it out for repair - they will replace it with speakers closest to spec. these are discontinued models and i purchased them with my employee discount. which means if they have to be replaced you get another speaker/sub not to exceed the original purchase price. unless you are also a Best Buy employee, you will have to pay regular price if you exchange it for something more expensive - sorry, but its better than nothing! i will include all original receipts. if you have any questions please email or PM me.

you can see in the last 2 pics where it had to me modified to fit the front doors of the '95 protege. the '95 protege had slightly different mounting holes that didnt fit. luckily we had a dremel tool and made the necessary adjustments.

What size are the P5's?? I'd like a newer set of speakers for up front.

 

i believe the P5 have 6x8 in the front doors and 6 or 6.5" in the rear doors.
