FS: AEM short RAM intake
Hi all,
I've sold my Protege and still have this intake, so I may as well sell it. I'm posting here becasue I want my fellow Canadians to have first dibs(also much easier shipping )
Ok, so it's a red AEM Short RAM intake for the FSDE engine. It is actually the automatic version but it will fit a 5 speed as well. The difference is that the 5 speed version goes down near the transmission. An auto tranny is too large for the 5 speed to fit down there so AEM made another version that is shorter. Anyway, I have pics in the link below. It only attaches in one place which is a brakcet that exists on auto's and manuals.
At first this intake rubbed against the master brake cylander, so I had to adjust it so that it wouldn't. As a result, some of the red paint was rubbed off. The area of rubbed off paint is about the size of a nickel. It is in behind the piping and is impossible to see unless you crank your head down and look specifically for it.
If interested, PM me an offer. Shipping will be your choice and at cost. This piece costs $200 USD new.
