Check this **** out. They'll have three different sets of coilovers for these cars. Dampers are custom valvable and custom spring rates as well. They are rebuildable in the US.

They have several exhaust systems too.

We'll be setting up as a major distributor of this product. IF you're interested in having us import something please post here.

This is not for the faint pocketed, with suspension at least. The exhaust systems are sweet.

Thanks, Rishie

CF for 99-00

Yup it sucks the 01-02 guys are getting one and we can't. I'd really love one. According to the parts sheet the under hood deminsions, hinges, etc. are the same. Only the actual hood and the latch are different.

In all honesty, until the 01-02's start really selling, I guarantee noone will produce them.

We're working on getting some high quality ones produced, but that's still in the works. Tripoint is on hold because they are trying to find another manufacturer and regain the mold.

My partner went and checked them out at Tripoint last week, the only concern was that the hood does not sit flat with the fender line on the back/window side. Solution: Shave the brackets accordingly to make it match up.

The pillowball uppermount's should be available next month. They'll be around $248.00 a set. They have adjustable camber angle as well.

I'll be getting in the exhaust systems and a couple of coilover kits in the next month or so.

Rishie

Tell me what stuff you guys really like, so I know what to stock and order.

I'm interested in the pillowball upper mounts as well. Will there be a version to fit the stock springs/struts, or just for their coil-overs?
This is somewhat off topic for this thread, but as for the '99-'00 carbon fiber hoods, I thought at one point Mitch said Fiber Images would build them with 10 prepaid orders. I think we were about half way there at one point. Is it time to try agian?

1)anyone care to explain the purpose of pillowball upper mounts?

2)I'd like to get this CF hood thing going. I know we have a solid 5 people interested, but I just don't know if anyone else will ACTUALLY put down the money. If we get a decent list of people, we should contact fiberimages or tripoint, etc.

Pillowball mounts use sperical bearings, and remove the rubber used in the stock mounts. They also allow for some camber adjustment with the front struts. Basically, they are more precise than the stock mounts. Kind of like using poly bushings instead of rubber. A picture is worth a thousand words.
