Mazdaspeed Racingbeat exhaust (oval tip)
I have a mazdaspeed racing beat exhaust that has the oval tip for sale.
Ive never owned a car with a performance exhaust on it, and i thought i would like this. but 3 months has past and i do not like it anymore. I went to stock two weeks ago. had about 5500-6000 miles on it.
looking for $100 plus shipping.
PM me if there is any interest.
Thanks.
This will fit the p5 with a slight modification from a machine shop, otherwise it would fit the sedan perfectly. You will also need a new exhaust gasket as well.

sounds actually.. i average about 25,000-27,000 miles a year, mostly on the highway. so, i didn't need something that was loud at cruising speeds. just like to listen to my music.

I've heard some others say that it drones a bit on the highway around 3500 rpm. I too take some long trips on the highway. And loud exhausts give me a headache after a 5 hour long drive. Good luck selling. Sounds and looks like a great buy.

the mazdaspeed exhaust is notorious to drone at those rpm levels, but, some who have driven in my car love it. personally, i don't want to be heard a mile away.

That's weird. I don't think it drones at all. Anyway, what you've got is really the MP3 exhaust
(I have the same one) that a lot of dealers have listed as the Mazdaspeed.
Actually the Mazdaspeed axle-back is made by Borla, and that's the one people usually complain about.
Anyway, that's not a bad price, someone should snap it up.
I love mine.

That axel back is he same exact one that I had on my MSP stock. The oval tip one were installed on the 2003.5 MSP. The round were on the MP3 and 2003 MSP wether they are the same(as the MP3) except the tip I am not sure...

If it says "Racing Beat" and is angled, it's the MP3. If it's a round tip, it's a Borla.
I guess the third one would actually be the one you have...an oval tip...I've seen those, too, does it
say "Racing Beat" or "Mazdaspeed"? Someday, I am going to have this down to a science.
Anyway, the dealer-sold "Mazdaspeed" exhaust I am pretty sure is the Borla.
When I bought mine and thought I was getting that, the invoice actually said
Mazda Sport Exhaust, not Mazdaspeed.

Yeah the exhaust tip on the 2003.5 has the Mazdaspeed logo stamped on it...just found my invoice it said "sport tuned stainless steel exhaust system w/high flow polished muffler"
LMFAO I know this has nothing to do w/ the thread but I have to include another stock part that is on the car it is "Sport PINK smoke tail lights" LOL how ******* sporty is the color PINK
