Someone is selling some mazdaspeed springs on ebay, He claims that they don't seat right in his P5 because it's a wagon and not a sedan! Well they were $60 last I looked so get on there and bid!

I payed $225 for mine!
This guy must not be a member of our club!

Did you have the same problem as this fella did when trying to insall them?

I bought these springs for my 2002 Mazda Protege5, but they do not "seat" properly on that car due to suspension differences between the wagon and sedan.

I like how he said 4 springs from the dealer is $700-1000. You could almost get the entire MazdaSpeed suspension for that.

Yes, I have them on my P5! But I have the struts too! They will work without the struts, but sooner or later you will need new struts

No difference

I just got finished with a suspension swap in my P5, and I agree. There is NO difference between sedan and P5 stock springs. I traded my P5 springs with a guy who has an ES with JICs. After reading about the differences between the two, I went through the hassle of finding him some stock ES springs, since my P5 springs "wouldn't fit" on his ES...WRONG!!
We even took some pics of the ES and P5 springs side-by-side. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE! even the factory markings are identical.

I know that I'm babbling about an ES and not an MSP, but I thought this would be as good a place as any to post our findings.
