MP3 ECU sale/trade

MP3 ECU FOR SALE!!!!
Well, I'm putting a turbo on my MP3 and I have learned that our advanced timing is a bad thing for turbos. So it is for sale. But I have some stipulations. I drive 45min. to work every day. So my car has to be a daily driver. I can not do without my car! So here is the deal. The buyer has to overnite me their ECU, I'll install it in my MP3, then I'll overnight them my ECU. I'm selling it for $300 plus your ECU. If that sound's a little steep call a Mazda dealer and ask them what a new one costs. They will gladly tell you a figure over $1000. So mine is more than 60% off. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I'm interested. Are you talking about doing this soon, or at a time when you are closer to getting a turbo? Also, how many miles on it? I've heard that the speedometer mileage is recorded in the ECU and mine is a low mileage car so don't want to get one with too high a mileage in it. I'm double checking that info to make sure it's correct.

No prob. I've talked to a couple places that said the same thing. The timing is still retarded compared to a real performance tune. It works fine in low boost apps. Tri-point has their turbo kit done now and the first one is on a customers MP3. They say there is not even a hint of detonation at 6 psi.
