New Konig Traffics 16x7 Black

Guys, I haven't had my protege for over 5 months now, and these were going to be my next add on. They were a New set of white 16x7 Traffics that I had stripped down to bare aluminum, and had powder coated semi-gloss black. (Konig only offered the 16s in white or silver, thats why I went though all the trouble) black looks so much better especially after skipping a few car washes! These have never had tires mounted on them, and are in perfect condition. I have close to $900 invested in these, but am looking to get $500. They are quality rims, and qualify as light weight by their size, they weigh 16 lbs each. Thanks for looking guys, I am just trying to access some occupied space in the garage, and although it'd be in my better financial interest to hang on to them and use them on some later project, the garage is getting filled with too many toys and gadgets.

Thanks

Trey Adams

Well, I guess the asking price for the set is $500 Plus shipping...which would probably be in the neighborhood of $60-80. I have quite a bit of cash tied up in these guys, so I want to try and stay as close to $500 for the selling price as possible.

Thanks for the inquiery, and let me know if you need anymore info.

Good luck with those man, they are slick... If nobody wants them around here, i'm sure you can get something respectable for them on ebay... alot of people like unique wheels...

Thanks a bunch for the kind words, and the bump ;o)

I'll probably steer clear of ebay, I would like to sell the rims, but like you said, they are unique, and would be good for future use...I tried to get my wife to let me put them on her 03 Altima, but she wouldn't go for the black...go figure ;o)

I originally had them on my 96 Tacoma, they were white, and I soon found out that white while it looks good nice and shinney, if they weren't cleaned every freakin day they looked like doodoo. Soo...I brought them to a powder coating place nearby where I worked, and the fella says sure I can do them...$50 each, you don't even need to take the white off...I am nieve, and want my black rims, so I dish out the $200 and have black rims...for a while...they started chipping after a few months. (in the mean time the guy who did them goes out of buisiness!...nice huh) Anyhow, I decided to sell the truck so I took the rims off, and put the stockers on, knowing the bolt pattern for the Tacoma and PR5 were the same. A few months into owning the PR I decided to get the rims redone, so for the tune of $80 each add another $320 to the $200 plus the $600 I paid for the rims new (keep in mind they are less than a year old at the time) and I've got the most expensive set of Konig Traffics on earth ) Anyhow, thats why $500 is about as little as I can justify, meanwhile they can collect dust untill they sell or I put them on another car or truck. Hell, My wife is pregnant now, maybe in 15 years, my kid will want them ;o)

Oh well, I just felt like talking...later bud
