I have a stock head I bought some time ago with plans to port etc. At this point I'm not going to do anything with it. Unfortunately I have no info on mileage etc and the shop I bought it from went out of business. It looks in pretty good shape and IIRC is complete with cams. Let me know if you are interested and I'll get some pictures.

Yea I understand that. I figured I'd throw out the offer cuz I remember seeing it over there. Call any junk yards?
Try www.car-part.com too, it's a huge online junk yard pretty much.

As far as I know none of the FS-DE engines have any lifters, they have shims and buckets that are acted on directly by the cam lobes. Based on your saying that and talking about a distributor, are you sure you are looking for a FS-DE head? If so I'll post some pictures of mine later today.
