I am making my summer car plans and i think im going to start with lowering the car (springs and struts bought ) and next is intake then maybe exhaust...so is anyone not interested in their intake system anymore and would like to sell? Ive heard good things about the AEM short ram induction system, but wouldnt be opposed to CAI either.... let me know if u guys have anything...

 

Have you tried Ebay intakes? cheap and work just as good.

 

...I agree that you should try the e-Bay intake first. It is likely less expensive than a well-priced used AEM SRI. A CAI will give you more of a gain than a SRI, as it is better positioned to draw cold, dense air. A SRI is positioned such that it draws warmer, under hood air.

You can sometimes find good exhaust deals on e-Bay as well, for cat backs.

 

hmm, ok well i guess ill check that out...but i had heard that SRI was better for our cars as far as horsepower gain despite the warmer air...is this a case of dont always believe what the guy selling the parts says or is it true?
