1.6 ZM engine cover (from kafai)
hi i installed the engine cover from kafai today...
install was easy...
- unscrew the bolts to put the bracket on the valve cover
- screw the bolts back on (8-10nm/6-8lb-ft)
- put the engine cover at the top and tighten it with 6mm bolts....
engine bay is a bit dirty, but who cares... i drove around and tested how hot the engine cover gets... well.. it does get pretty hot (i estimate about 55-65C degrees), but i think it should be alright...

not bad but thats usually one of the first things I take out of the engine bay. It's just a big ole heat-umbrella not allowing the engine to dissapate heat faster. It looks clean though.

well, you people do have a stock engine cover, we edm 1.6er drivers dont 8)
but actually you're right..heat dissipation is an issue, luckily this engine cover has a lot of fins but i will keep looking after that...
