1st GEN GTX Bumper pics

Here are some quick pics of my weekend project. It's primed and fitted with all new brackets. I just need to do some final sanding, make the grilles and paint it! (and i've only had it for 6 months.....)

I would totally agree with you, I like this bumper a lot better then EVO.

How soon are you going paint it and post pics for us to see?

which was reason #2 that i ditched the EVO for the GTX. It looks better.

I still like the look of the EVO, but the full kit and either a molding shave or some lines added to the EVO would be needed IMO and i'm not into all that for a race car.

The GTX offers that clean but aggressive sporty look with OEM fit and finish...can't beat it

i'm pressed for time now, but should be painted in about 1-2 weeks.

Did you buy it from corksport? Did it come with mesh, or are you going to do a home depot special (which isn't bad, IMO).

I'm confused, I just looked on corksport, and the picture of the GTX bumper for there is way different from yours. I'm assuming that bumper would still fit on my 323 then?

Aw, darn it Darryl ... now I want one too! Btw, is that a complete new bumper assembly, like take the old bumper off, put this one on? If so, I really do need one ... I've got a crack in the top of my current bumper <searching for excuses> .

<edit> Nevermind ... I just read your "how-to", but yeah, where'd you get it?

I got it from Braden, i have no idea where he got it from, other than overseas.

The difference "may" be the GTX Protege vs the GTX 323??? i dunno, but it should fit both the 323 and Protege.

No mesh, it came as is. I will do the home depot mesh to start but will try to find some other OEM grilles and shape them to fit....

Thumbs up

NICE bumper. By far the nicest aftermarket front clip made for the 1st gens. Agressive, but not outrageous.

Take the R out of pray, then you can figure out what they do
