lol, no **** his check engine light is on. The front end of that car looks pretty ghetto, as well as the paint-job. Oh well if its fast, I guess that's cool.

300HP from 10PSI? Is that possible? I wish there was more information up there.

hmmmm 300hp from 10psi?
Besides the fact pretty cool. I am wondering how he has the stock heatshield in place with the manifold, unless they rigged the factory header to the turbo. I wonder what he doin for fuel at that psi....I saw an apexi safc in the corner of a pic, I wonder what else he is using.

It's possible, but it would have to be at high rpm's. Well past our redline of 6.5k. Let's say it can deliver 200ft/lbs at 8000 rpm. That'd be 304 horses. Major valvetrain/head modifications, high compression pistons, free flowing exhaust, on top of some wicked engine management and it can happen. However, an easier way to get to that magical 300HP mark would be to bump the boost into the 20s. Internals would have to be modified still as well as 3rd party engine management, but the risk of burning holes in the pistons from boost and high compression would be down. Might have to bore a little to increase displacement, too. Keeping displacement and compression ratio the same, boost would have to be in the 19-20psi range.

Nope. That's the "Door Ajar" and "Seatbelt" lights.

Look to the left and you will see the check engine light on. Now they might have taken the picture before it had a chance to turn off. But who knows.

got my turbo on pics are in the general section for the 3rd gen. My check engine came on todya but i had it come on before too when i took my air filter out one time. So i'm thinking its from so much air going into the engine or the fact i dont' have a Catalyst on my car right now i'm thinking the later of the two.

With 300 HP that motor probably won't last a year.

it's working again...but oddly enough...as i was lurking around the webpage....they had nothing...literally, NOTHING!! In their "Tips and Tricks" section...nada. In "Xtreme Store", I clicked ever link, just to get more links, with nothing. Watch out for these boys...they might start scamming!

What's so ghetto about it, besides the removal of the grilles?

i think it's well done and it looks like a decent sized turbo, although 300hp is in his dreams.

You P5/G3 guys should be commending him....despite his over exaggeration...only 2 ppl here (and one just posted here recently) have gone out and turbo'd the new 2.0L engine...(that i have seen anyway and i could be way off being a G1 guy)
