nice A/B comparison.

i like both (i've had both, have 35% now) but while your cruising by, he will (eventually) be waiting for joe cop to write up his ticket.

I parked beside 3 cruisers the other day at a park, with the light coloured seats the front windows appear lighter than the back, they didn't even look twice at me. Keeping the car stock helps too. No excessively bright lights, loud muffler or wild rims reduces the attention factor by a good margin.

PS, excellent Job Homer thanks for putting the pics up.

Hey... along the lines of this thread, I have two very specific questions:

1.) Does it help your car stay cooler in the summer - is it a lot cooler, or only a little bit.

2.) What's an average price to pay for a decent tint job.

(I realize I could probably find this in the search, but hey, what the hell... this thread already exists).

Stocker: your welcome and thanks.

brubeck: yeah i belive it does help your car keep cooler, but by how much i think also depends on what % tint you get.
it does help one way or another.

It also depends where you go to.
i called up a few place, the prices went from $180 to $275 CAD for the P5.
The place i went i paid $250.
the reason why i went there was cause the cheaper places said it would take about 2 - 3 hours, while the place i went to said 3 - 4 hours, i figured they do a better job cause it takes a bit longer than the other places.

my front 2 windows are also tinted 35% to be legal, and everything else is 20%. Same as bruces. I also like the way it looks. ppl in the back cant be seen at all, and its still dark enough in the front to flick ppl off and they can hardly see ya. haha

Thanks to everyone for posting their pictures. My MBM P5 is going in on Tuesday for 35% front/20% rest tinting.

Going to a reputable place here in town, getting a discount due to trade-out deal with my wife's work. Original quote was $189, out the door price with deal is $130. Johnson films, lifetime guarantee. I'll post pictures after it is completed.
